Bintz Patrick
Animal sculptor and painter (1953)
Patrick Bintz is a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris. He joined the team at the Paris National Opera Theatre in 1980 and worked as a scene designer for three years. In 1983, he was awarded First Prize by the Institut de Dessin de Paris. In 1985, he moved towards marble sculpture and won the Sculpture Prize from the Fondation de France in 1989. This animal sculptor is guided by his fascination for Ancient mythology that he retranslates through many of his pieces.
