Salvador Dali was the greatest Surrealist artist of the 20th century. Internationally celebrated, he is highly sought-after by collectors. He had an inimitable and devilish style; his work is provocative and spectacular. He had unbelievable charisma twinned with unbridled and immeasurable creative spirit. He produced 21 pieces for Daum and the collaboration between the two was unique and solid. Today, Dali’s sculptures in pâte-de-cristal are unequalled and valued very highly on the market.
Salvador Dali’s Surrealist pieces were inspired by Catalan Art Nouveau. He began his collaboration with Maison Daum in the mid-1960s and the healthy relationship lasted over twenty years.
