Louis Derbré is a world famous artist, recognised for his monumental pieces. He is one of the masters, like Rude, Rodin and Maillol, who have their roots firmly planted in Antiquity and classical sculpture. His work is inspired by nature, faces and portraits. He is also famous for his militant attitude for the presence of Art in towns and on the streets, accessible to the general public.
