After a period focused on reliefs, metal sculptures and spirited paintings, Isabel Echarri chose “white” in 1962 in its different forms of expression: musical audio-visual sculptures, paper sculptures and more. Three elements are at the core of her work: the colour white, the colour sand and the realm of paper. For her, white is the culmination of all colours – it is light. It is also the symbol of the incomplete, which suggests without imposition and leaves everything open for imagination and dreams. White is a return to the irresistible journey of birth and life.
