Internationally acclaimed contemporary artist, Liu Jianhua is famous for his very evocative porcelain sculptures of women without heads or hands. His pieces are always delicate, sensual, full of irony and contradiction. He is passionate about objects in every day life and is inspired amongst other things, by the upheavals in China due to economic expansion.
