Legendre Maurice

French artist

A pupil of Robert Couturier and Marcel Gimond, in 1954 Maurice Legendre won the Blumenthal prize and in 1965 was awarded the Brantôme prize for sculpture. His work uses passion and violence in treatments of animals, human shapes and monumental art. They can be viewed all over the world, in both private collections and the major museums.
