A painter, stylist, director, photographer, set designer and designer, Hilton McConnico is a major name on the current art scene. The artist became known for his work for many Parisian fashion houses like Ted Lapidus and Yves Saint Laurent, then moved in a natural progression towards drawing and the world of design. With his unbridled imagination, Hilton McConnico creates a world rich in a poetry that can also be found in everyday objects and designs. Recognised for his original creations inspired by cactus that caused a stir in the 1990s, his collaboration with Daum began in 1987.
