Christian Tortu began his adventure in the world of floral decoration in the 1980s to international acclaim.
He brings nature into the home through plants…with an obvious change in scale. On the back of this success, he then created a collection of extremely original accessories, vases and perfumes where the key themes were natural materials, authenticity and craftsmanship at the service of a thoroughly modern concept.
Christian Tortu uses his love of fauna and flora as both the inspiration and the tools for his work.
In his search to extend life in nature without destroying, his objective is to bring it within reach of city dwellers without being intrusive, and to observe it without disturbing.
