Daum re-interpretes in amber crystal the Buddha from the Cernuschi Museumm. The God is here represented in the lotus position, the favoured position for meditation in Buddhist philosophy. A lot of attention has been paid to details: the folds in his robe look very realistic whilst his face expresses peace and tranquillity.
