Through the magic of a new process, Cosmos comes to life and changes colour with the light. The light creates the blend of colours.
Look at it from in front; it’s mauve. Seen from the side, it become rose-coloured. And if the sun’s rays change direction? It takes on a bluish tint.
In this subtle play of light, the crystal will never be exactly the same colour twice. And each glance at it holds a surprise.
What is the secret of the changeable colour? A new pigment in the pâte de cristal used by Daum’s workshops to create this unexpected effect, called Ultra Violet.
This sculpture reconciles the sea and the sky. Who among us has never dreamt of being both a bird and a fish? The circle represents a kind of mutation from one state to another.
