Herve Di Rosa
A pioneer in Modest Art, Hervé di Rosa founded the International Museum of Modest Art in Sète. He initiated the French movement of Free Figuration. Cartoons, popular art and primitive art influence his painting. Hervé di Rosa has travelled extensively, searching the world for forgotten artisan techniques
with local artists. Highly coloured and tinged with surrealism, Le Roi de Coeur is a dreamlike, benevolent character. The original sculpture has been carried out in Cameroon.
