Hilton McConnico

A painter, stylist, filmmaker, photographer, scenographer, and designer, Hilton McConnico (1943-2018) started in the couture industry by working with many Paris fashion houses such as Ted Lapidus and Yves Saint Laurent. His universe was colourful and poetic, original and offbeat. His creations have marked the history of Daum with their audacity, their poetry, and their originality. The champagne flute of the Cactus collection has become an iconic piece of the Maison, and remains an absolute contemporaneity. A mythical piece in the Daum legacy, Cheval porteur de feu was inspired by a legend. This magnificent horse seems to have stepped out of a theatrical stage setting.
