Born in 1970 in Paris, France, Pascale Boucholzer started at a very early age to draw the objects of her fascination: nature and horses. Having studied law, she turned to drawing and in 2001, created her first three-dimensional horse. This intense and
magical moment made her discover that sculptures were her true calling. Her works are enchanting and delicate and she has a real talent for emphasizing the sensual curves of her animals. Created in 2009, Jument au Repos is surprisingly realistic with its rarely sculpted posture and perfectly realized curves.
