Born in Dijon in 1956, Sylvie Koechlin is a singular and original artist, who uses the direct carving technique to work on stone. She draws her inspiration from nature and the four elements: water, fire, earth and air. Kéa is the result of an extensive search focused on the human face. This piece highlights the natural forms of the block with its grains, its veins, its chips and fragments.
